Pi Network Profile Page Overview: Features & Tips

The Pi Network profile page is where users can manage their account and settings. It shows basic details like your name, and referral code, making it easier to connect with others. You can verify your identity (KYC), link your account to other services, and update security settings like phone and email verification. The page also lets you see your Pi balance, mining progress, and how you’re helping the network. It’s simple and user-friendly, making it easy to stay engaged and secure in the Pi Network

At the top of your profile page, you will see your total Pi balance, showing how much Pi you have mined so far. Right below that, your full name, which you entered when creating your account, will be displayed.

Right below your full name, you’ll see your username, which starts with the “@” symbol.
Below your username, you’ll see your invitation code. This is the referral link you can share with others to invite them to join the Pi Network.

Hide Your Real Name

In the settings, you have options to control your profile’s privacy. One of these options is Hide Real Name, which helps you keep your personal information private.

When you turn on this option, your real name will be hidden from people in your referral team and anyone you invite. This is helpful if you want to stay more private or keep some level of anonymity while interacting with your team.

Hide Your Balance

Right below the “Hide Real Name” option, you’ll find the Hide Balance setting. This feature lets you hide your Pi balance, which shows the total amount of Pi you’ve mined so far.

When you turn on the Hide Balance option, your Pi balance won’t be visible to other users. This gives you extra privacy if you don’t want to share how much Pi you’ve earned.

It’s important to know that hiding your balance won’t affect your mining rate or any other part of your account. You will still mine Pi at the same rate, and your balance will remain the same—just hidden from others.

Push Notifications: Stay Updated and On Time

Right below the Hide Balance option, you’ll see the Push Notification setting. This option helps you stay informed and makes your mining experience better.

When you enable push notifications, you’ll get alerts when your mining session is complete. This way, you won’t miss the chance to start mining again right away, helping you make the most of your time.

Besides mining session alerts, this setting also lets the app send you updates, news, and important announcements. Whether it’s a new feature, important news, or other updates, you’ll be notified so you can stay informed and connected.

Profile Verification: Build Trust on Pi Network

Right below the Push Notification option, you’ll find the Verification setting. This feature helps you verify your profile, which builds trust and credibility within the Pi Network.

There are three types of verification you can complete to improve your trust level:

• Phone Verification: This links your phone number to your account, making your profile more genuine and helping secure your account from fraud.
• Facebook Verification: By connecting your Facebook account, you add another layer of trust to your profile. It shows your social media presence, making you more trustworthy in the community.
• Email Verification: Verifying your email ensures that your account is linked to a real email. It adds credibility and helps with account recovery if necessary.

Additionally, a recent Pi Network update gives users the option to update their phone number or email address. This feature helps you keep your contact information up to date, which is important for getting notifications and keeping your profile accurate.

If you accidentally created more than one account or notice something that suggests your account could be counterfeit, you can use this feature to report it. This helps keep the Pi Network community clean by ensuring that only real accounts are active.

By reporting a duplicate or fake account, you help make the platform safer and more secure for everyone.

Ads: Help Cover Server and Maintenance Costs

Right below the Self Report option, you’ll find the Ads setting. This option lets you help cover the server and maintenance costs for your account by allowing ads to appear.

By enabling ads on your profile, you contribute to supporting the platform’s infrastructure, making sure the network runs smoothly. This is an easy way to help with the platform’s costs without affecting your mining activities or account features.

Enabling ads is a great way to support the Pi Network while continuing to use its features without any interruptions.

Account Deletion: Permanently Remove Your Account

The second-to-last option in your profile settings is the Account Deletion setting. If you decide to delete your account, keep in mind that this action is permanent.

By deleting your account, you will lose all your Pi balance, and any referral bonuses you’ve earned will be lost. Additionally, your team members will no longer have you as a referral. To delete your account, you’ll need to enter your username and confirm the deletion.

This option should be used carefully, as once your account is deleted, all associated data will be permanently removed.

Sign Out: Exit Your Account
