In this blog, I will show you how to check your unverified balance in the Pi Network and make it ready to use. But first, let’s understand what an unverified balance is.
The unverified balance (Marked in yellow) is the extra Pi you earned from your referral team and security circle. However, this is just an estimate and not yet confirmed.
To finalize this bonus Pi, your referral team and security circle members need to complete their KYC (Know Your Customer) verification. Once they verify their identities, this bonus Pi will be confirmed and added to your main balance, making it ready to use or transfer.
At the bottom of your Pi Network dashboard, you might see a red warning box that says:
“You are at risk of losing Pi.”
This warning means that if the members of your referral team and security circle don’t complete the Mainnet Checklist (including KYC verification) before the deadline, you could lose some of your unverified balance.

How to Monitor Referral and Security Members’ KYC Status
In your Pi Network dashboard, you will see a section that displays your unverified balance. Below this, there is a list that shows how many of your referral and security circle members have not yet completed their KYC verification or finished the Mainnet migration process.
To keep track of their progress and encourage them to finish their KYC, you can follow these steps:
Check the List of Incomplete KYC Members
In this section, you’ll find a detailed list of members from your referral team and security circle who have not yet completed the necessary steps. This gives you a clear view of who needs to finish their KYC verification to confirm your bonus Pi.
Send a Reminder via Ping:
If you want to quickly remind your members to complete their KYC, simply tap the Ping button . This will send them an automatic notification, prompting them to complete the process. It’s a simple and efficient way to remind them of the importance of verifying their identities.
Send a Personal Message via Pioneer Profile:
If you prefer a more personal touch, you just tap the Message button. This allows you to send a custom message encouraging them to finish their KYC verification and Mainnet migration. A direct, friendly message could motivate them to act sooner.
By following these steps, you can easily keep track of which members still need to complete their verification and send them friendly reminders to finish the process. This will help protect your unverified balance and make sure everything moves forward without issues.
Once your referral team and security circle members complete their KYC and the Mainnet migration process, your unverified balance will be officially confirmed. At that point, the bonus Pi will be moved to your transferable balance, making it ready to use or transfer as you wish.
